Dear The Forest Defenders

As a geocacher, I have come across your mission to stop our *right* to enjoy nature.  No, it is not about leaving a container in a forest and *littering* the area.  It is more personal.  You have taken my right to enjoy the nature, the very reason why I enjoy the hike.

I want you to understand, do you know how many people enjoy the parks and trails because of geocaching.  Do you know how many people contribute monetarily to the *Parks and Wildlife* Department because they have a new appreciation of wildlife aka Mother Nature.  Geocaching has changed peoples lives.  Instead of sitting in front of the Nintendo playing a game, they are grabbing a hiking stick, and walking the trails to enjoy what our great earth has to offer.  Oh and guess what, there are even some geocachers that enjoy the hobby so much, they CITO.

What is CITO...well in our *terrible* hobby it is meant to clean up the area, clean up nature.  So yes, less people cleaning up nature because a cache has been taken away, a small container,   Yes, while we are making our way to the cache site, we pick up bottles, wrappers, all sorts of trash.  We clean as we get to the cache.  We may even contriubte some funds to help with the parks maintenance.  We take memorable pictures, our kids are overjoyed at....what is it called? Nature....

So continue your rampage, continue your *clean-up of geocaches* and continue taking away our *joy of geocaching.*
